PUCL Gujarat condemns Pahalgam massacre, appeals for peace and unity

The People's Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL) Gujarat has issued a heartfelt statement condemning the heinous terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed the lives of innocent citizens. Expressing profound grief, PUCL Gujarat extended its condolences to the families of the victims, lamenting the nation's inability to safeguard their precious lives.
PUCL Gujarat urged all sections of society to maintain peace and calm during this difficult time. The organization called upon the government to utilize all available resources to apprehend and prosecute those responsible for the attack. Additionally, PUCL emphasized the importance of preventing expressions or acts of hate and ensuring the protection of vulnerable citizens across the country.
The statement highlighted the exemplary response of ordinary Kashmiris, who rushed to assist the victims of the attack. PUCL Gujarat praised this act as a reflection of true Kashmiriyat and the ethos of the nation India aspires to be. The organization expressed hope that the central government would collaborate closely with the people and administration of Jammu and Kashmir to address the crisis effectively.
