Khudai Khidmatgar opens Frontier Gandhi library in Karnal on Gandhi Jayanti day

A Khudai Khidmatgar note on Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan Library inaugurated on Gandhi Jayanti in Garhi Bharal Panchayat,Gharaunda (Karnal):

A library was inaugurated in the memory of Sarhadi Gandhi Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan by Haryana Khudai Khidmatgar on Gandhi Jayanti i.e 2 October 2023.The library is the first library in this rural area where children of Sheikh Madari community and other marginalized communities will get access to books on science, social knowledge, literature , thinkers and career guidance.
On this occasion, National Coordinator of Khudai Khidmatgar Faisal Khan said that this library is in the name of mahatma Gandhi's close associate also known as Frontier Gandhi is a true tribute to both the great personalities. Mahatma Gandhi did "rachnatanak kam" i.e. constructive work all his life without any fear throughout his life. And Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan continued to work through non-violence throughout his life, even though he had to spend 42 years in jail for this.This library will open new doors of knowledge and opportunities for the children of rural area. He also mentioned that hate can only be countered Gandhi - Sarhadi Gandhi's path.
On this occasion, Prof. Saif Shaikh of Jamia University said that education is very important for the overall development of a person and the work of education is also a sacred work as mentioned in scriptures suggested that the youth of the village should sit in this library every day and read books and also prepare for competitive examinations. Naresh Saini ji Punjabi language teacher spoke about life and work of Sarhadi Gandhi . He mentioned that the life of Bharat Ratna Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan is an inspiration for all.
Kripal Singh Mandloi, Khudai Khidmatgar Madhya Pradesh, said that one can understand importance of the library by the fact that people are more prosperous and well settled in the states where there are more libraries in proportion to their population while states with less number of libraries have more challenges related to economy and employment. 
Mohammad Chand expressed his views by singing a progressive song while Jeet ji said that the library is beneficial for the nearby agriculture and agro-based businesses also as books and newspapers can keep updated about modern changes in agriculture and agro market (Mandi) system. Krishna Kumar, Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Garhi Bharal said extended all possible support from the Gram Panchayat to the library so that the children of his village can benefit and bring pride not only to the village but also to their state and country. The space for the library was provided by Madrasa Darul Ulam Mohammadia and is constructed with the help of people form the village. Students and youth of extremely marginalised communities from 22villages will benight from this library. Khudai Khidmatgar has been working in these villages for the last 8-9 years.
The government hospital in Faridabad named after Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan where frontier Gandhi Himself did "Shramdan" (voluntary work) was renamed in recent years Henceforth it was decided that a library should be opened in the name of Sarhadi Gandhi. Haryana Khudai Khidmatgars Mursleen Chauhan, Praveen Gujjar and team worked day and night to build the first library in the area. He thanked everyone to be part of the inauguration ceremony and urged for continuous guidance for the library.
