Rewriting history to assert Aryan 'pride': of being superior race, noble, free born

By Osman Sher

A new era has recently dawned in India: writing everything anew, history, geography, science, et al, falsifying all that has been established by evidences, research, and logic, pushing the existing ignorant population into the quagmire of fantasy and falsehood. This illiterate mass as well as the profit-seeking literate sycophants feel exhilarated and work for the continuity of the present state of politics.
The Aryans were semi-nomadic barbarians, living in the European steppe, the region between the Caspian and the Black Sea. They were forced to leave their homeland around 2,000 BC due to some natural disaster like drought, pestilence, or a series of Mongol invasions from Central Asia. Moving in all directions they spread over a greater part of Europe on the west and Turkey, Iran and India in the south-east.
They did not carry with them an impressive culture except for their spoken language and the poetic accomplishment of their sages, as enshrined in the Vedas. They did not know the art of writing and remembered the Vedas orally. They were using a spoken language that has been described as Primary-Sanskrit.
Extremely proud of their exalted extraction, the Aryans had a self-given name which meant “noble” or “free-born”. This pride of noble birth, or twice-born “djiva”, was reserved for themselves, which is being carried to this day. Also proud of the colour of their skin which was white, the dark-skinned local people were segregated from themselves by using the most obvious sign, i.e., the colour of skin or verna. The locals were declared to belong to a separate verna.
The proof that Aryans migrated to other countries apart from India is evident from the name of Iran meaning the land of Aryans
In Europe this pride of fair colour is reflected in Hitler’s claim of belonging to a superior race and in the Aryan logo of Swastika, as well as in the white supremacists of Europe and North America who form racist and terrorist organizations like KKK.
The proof that the Aryans migrated to other countries apart from India is evident from the name of the country Iran meaning “the land of the Aryans”. In Biblical times the country was called Paras or Faras. Another important source of information about Aryans dispersion is the tablets found during the 1909 excavations at the Hittite site of Boghaz-koi near modern Ankara in Turkey. They tell us of a treaty between the Hittite king Subiliuma and his neighbour of the east, king Mattiwaza, who reigned in 1400 B.C.
The treaty which is considered as the first document referring to the Aryans, invoked as divine witness four gods, Indra, Uruvna, Mitra, and Nasatiya whose Sanskrit names in the Rig Veda are spelled virtually the same, i.e., Indra, Varuna, Mitra, and Naksatras (Herman Kulke and Dietmar Rothermund: “A History of India”, and DB Vohra: “A Panoramic History of the Indian People”, Ch. Two,).
This indicates that the people of Asia Minor also belonged to the Aryan race who worshipped the same gods as the Aryans of India did.

The farmer's burden: How oil, war, and climate are rewriting the price of food

By Vikas Meshram   The scorching flames of the Middle East conflict are now slowly reaching the kitchens of ordinary people. The true price of this war is paid in daily markets, vegetable shops, and in the shattered minds of farmers. Expensive crude oil, skyrocketing fertilizer prices, and rising agricultural costs are together creating the conditions for global food inflation — and this crisis is directly tied to what people eat and drink every day.

Economic nationalism under strain as Indian corporates turn to America

By Sandeep Pandey*  U.S. federal prosecutors withdrew a criminal case involving allegations that Gautam Adani had bribed officials in India to secure solar energy projects, stating that they lacked sufficient evidence. Gautam Adani and his nephew Sagar Adani also settled a civil fraud case with the Securities and Exchange Commission by paying a fine of around ₹180 crore without admitting wrongdoing. In addition, Adani Enterprises reportedly deposited around ₹2,750 crore into the U.S. Treasury to resolve allegations that it had violated U.S. sanctions on Iran through purchases of Iranian liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

India’s heatwave crisis: How concrete cities are fueling climate emergency

By Rajkumar Sinha*  According to recent studies, urban areas are witnessing a much sharper rise in temperatures than rural regions. The planet is currently heading toward an additional 1.9°C of warming — far beyond the target envisioned under the Paris Agreement . A team of climate scientists associated with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has noted that India’s average temperature increased by nearly 0.9°C during the decade between 2015 and 2024 compared to the early twentieth century (1901–1930). In western and northeastern India, the hottest day of the year has already become 1.5°C to 2°C warmer since the 1950s.
