Gujarat's Dark Island

This is a documentary on the so-called Dark Island in the midst of Kaneval lake in Anand district of Gujarat. Just 100 km from Gujarat capital, the island is perpetually dark – it has no power. The government has not cared to construct a road. Sponsored by Charotar Rural Development Trust, the documentary welcomes the viewers to life on the island, where you can't go to school if you can't row or swim.
