Artistes from Tral area of Pulwama make funny videos for Covid-stressed audience

As the whole country reels under COVID-19 threat, for last one month, with strict restriction orders coming from government day by day, asking people to stay indoors completely, the artists on youtube continue to entertain people, even at the time, when there is no option to smile.
Many artist groups in Kashmir valley have been entertaining the people here for many years by uploading the videos, mostly entertaining, on their youtube channels, thereby bringing a sigh of relief to the people from distress.
"Jannu Obba", one of the entertaining youtube channels, has been apparently doing a good work from years, and has managed to get thirty eight thousand (38,000) subscribers so far, across the Kashmir valley.
The people in thousands has been viewing and sharing the funny videos from this channel which is of Kashmiri title "Jannu Obba" and is day by day getting good response from the audiences, in and outside the Kashmir.
The channel has been operating by a team of artists from Tral area of Pulwama in South Kashmir, who have been trying their best to entertain all the audiences by making creative and funny videos timely.
Waris Raj, a 24-year-old artist, is the owner this youtube channel, who has done B Tech from Kurukshetra University in Haryana, and "the idea to start youtube channel for the people, flashed his mind some years back, which is proving successful," as the channel is about the touch forty thousand subscribers now. 
Waris has said, "The main motive to start the channel was to entertain the people in all the situations (good or bad), as most of the people usually remain sad and distressed, due to different circumstances." 
Even at the time COVID-19 threat, which has gripped the whole world severely, with hundreds of cases in the Jammu and Kashmir so far, Waris continued to entertain people through his latest funny and informative videos.
"I have seen people very frightened in houses due to coronavirus. Keeping in view all that, I along with my team made new videos and uploaded them for the mitigation of fear, stress and depression among the people," Waris said.

He said that day by day he is getting new ideas to entertain the people and to give them the good messages.
In a recent video, Waris has focussed on the people, who hide their travel history, thereby posing sheer threat to the people. He asked them (in the video) "not to conceal the history as it may have serious consequences at all."
"Most of the people did hide their travel history just to avoid quarantine facilities but they don't know how much serious it could be for their family, friends, relatives and the society. The latest video was eye opener to them," Waris said.
It is pertinent to mention here that the said video has hailed the role of authorities mostly the healthcare employees, police, district adminstrations and others, who are on roads for the safety of people.
The team members of Waris group include: Imran Wani, Itfam Ahmad, Yasir Ahmad, & Rahil Ahmad are quite happy in working with him, who said that they will keep entertaining the people in each every situation. They however asked people to "Stay indoors and to stay healthy & safe"
People from different sections of the society have hailed the efforts of this emerging artist group and said that they are "literally enjoying" the videos being uploaded by them timely.
"I have subscribed the channel "Jannu Obba" a year back. The videos uploaded there can make anyone happy with some important messages for the life," one of the channel subscribers Imran Ahmad said.
Other subscribers have also said that they have been watching and enjoying the videos with full sense of humour on the said youtube channel to pass these lockdown days.
"At the time of lockdown, such attempts by the artists are the need of hour to keep the people active and free from stress. We appreciate the efforts of artists like Waris Raj," they said.
Similarly, a group of artistis in Shangus constituency of Anantnag district have taken up the online video production as their profession and has managed to get lakhs of subscribers till the date.
The group has been producing & uploading the videos, to entertain people, mostly related to trending topics, on their youtube channel titled as Kashmiri Rounders, which is one of the leading youtube channels in Kashmir valley.
